Step 2. Sponsor a Pixel for $12 We will actually use that 4 inch square of color to construct
                the giant photo. Decide the total number of pixels you will be sponsoring for your family.
                Include any you might give away as gifts, to honor someone, or to memorialize
                a loved one.

Step 3.   Tell us whose name you want to put the pixel in by assigning your pixels. We recommend
                 one pixel per person. If you sponsor 4 pixels, you can be part of the World Record attempt
                 and give the other 3 away to family or friends so they can be included in the too.

Step 4.   If you are joining this project to support a student or an organization, please take a
                couple minutes to pass their referral number on to your family and friends across the
                country and ask them to consider joining the World Record Attempt too.

Here's your chance to be part of a World Record Attempt and
support schools and organizations across the country at the same time

This is what each sponsor gets for his/her $12.00 sponsorship:

You are joining people across the country in a one-of-a-kind multi-million dollar project.
When the project has been completed, all pixel sponsors will be a World Record Holder. Where else can you do that?
You will be part of something huge. The final World Record Photo Mosaic will be 400 feet wide, 533 feet long, 5 acres in size (3 1/2 times the size of a football field) and visible from orbiting satellites. It will break the current World record by OVER 43 Times.
After the project has been certified a New World Record, all 6,650 pieces of plywood will be donated to non-profit organizations that build or repair homes for fellow Americans.
$3 out of every $12 pixel sponsorship fee will go to the school or organization that referred you.

Finally, you get a Certificate of Authenticity which verifies your involvement in the World Record Attempt and your name is listed on our site for your family and friends to see.

Schools and non-profit organizations

If you are a school or a 501 (c) 3 organization anywhere in the United States and would like to use the popularity of this unique project to raise funds for your own organization, just click HERE to get additional information. There is no cost to your school/organization and all you have to do is help us spread the word about this fun, exciting project. It's easier to raise funds with this project than by selling magazines, cookie dough, gormet coffee, or wrapping paper and less effort than organizing "A-thon" events, dinners, auctions, dances or golf outings.

If your school has been having difficulty raising funds with your current fundraisers, or the parents and students are getting burned out because you ask them to do the same thing year after year, give us a chance. The photo to the left shows the original members of the PowerfulPixel World Record Attempt Team with one completed piece of plywood with the 4-inch "pixels" already attached. The white streak going across the plywood is the space shuttle's flame and will give you an idea about how big this thing is actually going to be.
